Last night my nearly 12-year-old told me she was having friend trouble. She confided that she’s had some rather angry messages. As I listened to her describe what happened, she said, “I think it’s her subconscious that is making her see stuff that isn’t really happening.”
Hmmm! That’s what adults tend to call projection.
